Ubud Bali Camping

Located within the Bongkasa Village in Ubud, Bali camping offers its guests with a unique outdoor experience with a traditional Balinese village environment. The locals in the area are farmers who tend to green rice paddies and fields of vegetation as a means of living. The campsite is easily accessible by bike if you’re in the Ubud, Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak area.

A majority of Pengotans live by raising cattle and poultry. They also grow various crops including coffee, purple yams, and chilies. Most of the locals are Hindu, which means practice colorful rituals and ceremonial events! If you’re lucky enough, you might get to see these amazing events!

Puncak Mangu Temple

This ancient temple is located near the Gunung Batur region. There are several nature trails that will lead up to the temple and the ones you choose will depend on how fit you are! Some of the trails are around 6 kilometers long! You’ll trek along well-marked trails in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by chirping birds and gray monkeys.

The effort is well worth it once you set up camp at the temple’s many bale. You’ll be treated to a sweeping view of the Gunung Batur and Gunung Abang to the east and the mountain range in the west! And wait until nighttime falls and the skies slowly transitions from blue to starry!

Sundak Beach

One of the most popular camping sites in Yokyakarta is the Sundak beach. Sundak beach is a white sand beach located in Sidoharjo village, Yogyakarta. Thanks to its remote location, the beach is unspoiled and deserted! You can set up camp near the shores and enjoy the tranquility until the sun sets and the stars come out.

The beach features cool, calm waters and surrounded by cliffs. Yokyakarta is also a great place for trekkers and hikers to explore. But because of its remoteness, we recommend hiring a local guide or sign up for a paid tour to maximize your trip!

Camp Sing Sing

Apart from the serene landscapes, Camp Sing Sing features a wide range of activities that will appeal to anyone who loves exploring the great outdoors! Visitors can choose between diving and snorkeling, trekking to nearby hot springs or go dolphin watching. Tents may be rented at the camp, but they also have villas and bungalows for those who prefer indoor accommodations.

Rinjani Mountain

Rinjani Mountain or Gunung Rinjani is located on the island of Lombok, on the east of Bali. Gunung Rinjani is one of the 120 most active volcanoes in the world and is the second highest with the summit at 3726 meters. If you love trekking then the trip towards the camp site requires covering a lot of ground. But don’t worry, you will come across stunning views of the volcano and the lake throughout the hike.

The campsite is located on the summit of the mountain and it features an unparalleled view of the beautiful natural landscapes below. You can either set up camp on the mountain or near the lake. Because the trail is several kilometers long, we recommend signing up for a guided trek instead of going solo.
